Paper Pumpkin Alternative

Did you get your February Paper Pumpkin?  The Sunshine & Smiles kit was a cute one, with supplies to make 9 cards:

But there was an add-on purchase of two little dies that you can use to cut out some of the images you stamp with the included stamp set.  And that is what I used when I made this project:

I needed a little customer gift, and thought this sticky-note holder would be so fun!  I stamped three sets of flowers (from the kit), then used the dies to cut them out.  The Granny Apple Green "grass" was cut using a die from Seaside Bay.  And the one on the top was cut with the Deckled Rectangle dies.

Look:

Using a piece of the Dandy Designs paper (a FREE offering from the last Sale-a-Bration), I cut a it to 3-1/16" x 7-3/4" and scored it at 1-1/2", 1-3/4", 4-3/4" and 5", to hold one half of a sticky note pad.  It's held closed with a teeny tiny magnet.

The greeting, from the kit, was stamped on one of the included banners - so easy!

It's so bright and cheery!  Who wouldn't love to carry this in a purse, ready to use when you need to jot down a note?

If you got the Paper Pumpkin and coordinating dies, just think of the possibilities!
