Merry Monday Fun Fold

How about a "fun fold" for today's Merry Monday card?

Here's a way to show off some of those different patterns in our Designer Series Papers.  Today I used the Classic Christmas patterned paper in Cherry Cobbler.  Such a rich red for the holidays!

To make this card, start with a piece of Cherry Cobbler cardstock cut to 5-1/2" x 11", and score at 5-1/2", and 1/34" from one end and 1-1/4" from the other end.  When you fold it in the middle, the ends fold over on themselves to give you a layered look.

Then cut your patterned paper to fit all the panels, adding a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White for the inside.

I made a belly band for the outside to help hold it al closed, but that is optional.  I used a 1-1/4" piece of Cherry Cobbler and added a Stitched Nested Label over the top, with a bow from Gift Wrapped and punched with the Gift Bow Builder punch.

The inside was stamped with Curvy Christmas, and I cut a "wave" with the Curvy dies:

Do you see the "shine" of those stars?  I stamped (using the Stamparatus) with Cherry Cobbler ink, then stamped again with Versamark.  I added some Clear embossing powder and voila!  Embossed stars in Cherry Cobbler!

Curvy Christmas is part of the Quite Curvy bundle and is available now!

Moose in a Window

Is it officially the start of the holiday season?  I don't usually begin my Christmas planning until at least a week after Thanksgiving, but I've started early.  How about you?  I walked around my little neighborhood Thanksgiving night (after WAY overeating!), and was amazed (and delighted) to see how many of my friends have already put up Christmas lights and decorations.  I had to get started!   So I put up a wreath, some lights and placed some holiday things around inside the house, and it led me to this:

Creating with a holiday flair!

I had an idea in my head, and had to make it happen.  So I created a living room (complete with wallpaper and wood floor) and put up a tree.  I even placed presents under the tree.

But that window...

I cut a square in the "wall" and created a window using the In Good Taste patterned paper and Layering Square dies.  I even put a Window Sheet in the window, making it look like glass!  And look who's taking a stroll in the snow!

I love the tree from Winter Woods, with the In the Woods dies - a second layer makes the tree come alive!

And who doesn't love this greeting:

Ya gotta love Merry Moose!
