Hippest Hippos and a Cloud Technique

Check out the waves - the wave die is one from the Hippo die set and it cuts the cardstock so you can tuck the boat behind the waves. I also tucked in some Tahitian Tide In Color Glimmer paper cut with the same die to give a little more texture.

I demonstrated this card at my Card Club the other day, and everyone wanted to know about the cloud background. They asked if it is patterned paper, but no - I created it myself. How?
