A Do-Over from Yesterday

Yesterday I shared a "card gone wrong".  Today I'll show you one that came together just right.  Take a look:

Beautiful!

This bright, happy card was simple to create, and only relies on 3 colors to make it's point:  Basic Black, Lemon Lime Twist, and a pop of Melon Mambo.  And it uses one of my new favorite bundles:  Oh So Eclectic.

Starting with a piece of Basic Black, I cut out the diamond pattern using the Eclectic Layers Thinlits Dies.  This became the top layer of my card (card base is Basic Black, and the middle layer is Lemon Lime Twist).

There's no stamping to these flowers - Just cut out with the thinlits and assemble.  Easy peasy!

I cut Lemon Lime Twist leaves and some little black dotted-leafy-things and assembled my flowers.  Then it was just a matter of stamping a sentiment (Happy Birthday Gorgeous) and punching out with the Classic Label Punch.  Add a Bitty Bow and some Glitter Enamel Dots, and call it a day...with a perfect card!

Gorgeous card! Those are knockout colors. If you don't mind, I want to CASE it. Not a single thing wrong with this one.

Aww, Kathy, thanks for that sweet comment! I'd be honored if you'd CASE it. I love bright colors, but I'm going to try it with the Subtles family because I think it would be lovely and soft. Let me know what colors you use if you decide to try others.
