Here goes:
Please don't tell me you like it, because I will know that you are lying. I had an idea, and I blew it.
Let's start at the beginning...
I was playing with the new Embossing Paste. This stuff is seriously the bomb! Easy to use, and lots of fun! Adds so much texture to your creations!
So I had this image of bricks...the Pattern Party Decorative Masks comes with 4 masks--clouds, a medallion, bricks and some kind of little diamond-shaped dots. I took the brick mask and covered it with Cajun Craze-colored embossing paste. Looked great!
Then I stamped and fussy cut the flowers from Wild About Flowers and punched a butterfly from Butterfly Basics...and then things fell apart.
I tried to get artsy; I ripped my brick wall cardstock and adhered it to my card base, but it looked too stark. So I started stamping different patterns from the Timeless Textures set around the bricks.
And I basically ruined my card. Sometimes less is more...I should have quit while I was ahead. Back to the drawing board.

Priscilla, at least you kept trying! And the color you used for the bricks is very real. Live and learn... Show us what you do with the next card.
Oh thank you, Kathy; you've made my day! I'm still trying to think about what I want to do next with my other piece of brick-embossing-pasted card stock, so keep watching...
