CASE - you know - Copy And Share Everything
That's how this card was made. I saw a card by fellow demonstrator Katie Drew, and knew it would be perfect for the outside of a card I was making as a sample for a class. So I copied it...
Katie made this card to demonstrate new color Bubble Bath. Such a pretty, soft, baby pink.
We started by heat embossing the "Happy Birthday" on Basic White cardstock, stamping it with Versamark and using Clear Embossing Powder. It was hard to see, as it is almost invisible. But then we used a Blending Brush with Bubble Bath ink to add a swath of color; the heat-embossed greeting literally popped out (this is the emboss resist technique).
The cupcake is from Circle Sayings, stamped, colored with Blends and fussy-cut. And Celebrate was cut using the new Wanted to Say dies.
But here is where my card diverges from Katie's:
POP! Opened, we have a pop-up card! The greetings and balloons were stamped in Bubble Bath, but look at this:
Aren't those candles the cutest? These are die-cuts, from the Sentiment Silhouette dies. LOVE!
