My Card Clubs this month have been featuring retiring colors, and today's card is a study in Mint.
Mint Macaron to be precise. This is such an earthy, smoky green - light, but not too sweet. Take a look:
I really wanted the color to be the star of this card, and I think that has been achieved. The card base and the first, embossed layer are solid Mint Macaron. Then there's a label, cut with the Designer Tags dies and the Country Gingham designer series paper.
A Stylish Shapes circle of white includes a sprig of Mint (one of the dies from Framed Florets), and stamped with a greeting from Season of Chic in the coordinating color. I love that the Festive Pearls have one color that is a perfect match!
If you haven't checked out the OnLine Exclusives yet, you might want to give it a try; that background embossing is one of the Basics Embossing Folders, and I love it!
Good-bye Mint Macaron! You make a lovely card!
Don't miss the Last Chance Sale, going on now! We're headed into the final two weeks of the January - April 2023 Mini Catalog AND the 2022-23 Annual Catalog, and there are drastically reduced items still available!
