Mini Cards

Why don't I make more mini cards?  These little 3" x 3" notecards are perfect for slipping into a package, onto a gift, or in someone's lunchbox.

I made a cute set of these in order to fill one of the new 3-1/8" x 3-1/8" Acetate Card Boxes for a quick gift.  I love Plaid Tidings patterned paper, and combined it with the Love of Leaves stamps and coordinating dies.  Let's look at each card.

Bright fall colors define this card.  A Melon Mambo base with the pink/mango plaid and a Mango Melody leaf is so cheery!

I inked the leaf using Crushed Curry, and then sponged some Cajun Craze in the center, stamped, then cut it with the dies and mounted it over a Merry Merlot plaid.  Feels like fall.

A little different spin - the leaf was cut with the dies and I used the negative space, mounted over a subdued plaid of Pretty Peacock and Cajun Craze.  One of my favs!

And finally:

Classic Black and White!  The background was created with the "lines" die (hard to see) and a plaid leaf was cut and adhered over the lines.  Subtle and pretty.

And they all fit in the Acetate Box:

Before gifting, I tied a bow of Metallic Mesh ribbon and included a little "thank you" tag.  Just a perfect  gift for a host.

Stampin' UP! carries all kinds of small gift boxes - Mini Pizza Boxes, Mini Shipping Boxes, Mini Paper Pumpkin Boxes and two sizes of Acetate Card Boxes.  Need a few quick gifts?  Check them out!
