You've heard the term CASE - Copy And Share Everything? Well, perusing the internet for ideas, I found this wonderful offering from Artisan Tammy Wilson (who I think is SO creative!):
I loved Tammy's little mini card with the tiny carrots (this must be a 3" x 3" card, looking at the size), so I decided to CASE it, changing it up, but with the same colors and ideas. I liked it so much I used it for a Card Club class this week.
Here's the card we made:
This is a standard-sized card, 4-1/4" x 5-1/2". I changed up quite a bit, but you'll notice the similarities in color, use of ribbon, and "rivets" in the 4 corners.
My card has a few differences.
First is the size - we used the medium-sized carrots (from Thanks a Bunch, a FREE stamp set with a qualifying order during Sale-a-Bration). We splattered some Soft Suede (flick the brush side of the Stampin' Write marker against the inside of the cap to create spots on your card), then mounted the square to Mint Macaron that was embossed with the Timber embossing folder.
Like another of Tammy's cards, we heat-embossed the greeting with White embossing powder.
And it was all added to a Thick Basic White card base with a layer of Basic White that was embossed with the Brick & Mortar embossing folder.
Sweet! Everyone loved their card!
When you run low on ideas, you can always try CASEing - it's a great way to augment your creativity! Give it a try!
And don't forget -
Sale-a-bration is going on now, but is nearing its end! Just one more week of FREE products with every $50 order...don't miss out!
