It's almost Valentine's Day, and I have one more card to share for this holiday:
This was a card we made in a class using the beautiful Country Bouquet Bundle. For this card, we did not use the Country Bouquet Punch, only the Country Bouquet stamps.
Isn't that heart beautiful?
So intricate, yet quite easy when you use the Stamparatus! And even without the Stamparatus, the photopolymer stamps (clear) are easy to line up. We first stamped the Soft Succulent leaves, and then stamped the Sweet Sorbet flowers. Easy peasy!
This is a fun-fold card. I believe it's called a Z-fold, as you start with a piece of 4-1/4" x 11" cardstock (we used Thick Basic White) and score it at 2-3/4" and 5-1/2". Fold it in half, then fold the top back on itself, creating a "Z" shape:
Add some patterned paper (we used three coordinating patterns of the Country Gingham DSP), and finish with a panel on the front - our stamped panel is 3-7/8" x 2-5/8" mounted to a 2-3/4" x 4" layer of Sweet Sorbet.
And opened:
Hint: Before adding your front panel, stamp and adhere your inside panel. Close up your card, and adhere the front panel (adding adhesive only on the back left side!! Very important so you don't glue your card shut) making sure you cover the inside panel with the front panel.
Although this makes a beautiful Valentine, the fun-fold can be used for any reason, and anyone who receives it is sure to smile!
Happy Valentine's Day!
