Today is my last day of projects using the Sweet Candy Canes bundle. I've had fun creating and sharing these cards, and I hope you have enjoyed them. And just FYI, I'm not done using this set. I have even more cards and will be sharing them over the next several weeks.
But for today, how about a "two-for"? I've got two cards using the same lay-out with subtle differences:
And here they are! Both cards started with a piece of Real Red cardstock, cut to 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4" and 7-1/4". That last 1-1/4" will be folded back over the front of the card, giving us a small fun-fold.
Now each card is ready for it's close-up:
I first made this, focusing on red--the red-dotted DSP, the candy cane DSP in red and featuring two Real Red candy canes on the front.
The candy canes are resting on a Stitched Rectangle on top of a slim Garden Green layer, and tied up with a Green ribbon. And I included some mistletoe under the greeting.
Then there is this:
Nearly identical, but this time with more green - red and green candy cane DSP, and red and green candy canes, tied up with Linen Thread and a Flat Jingle Bell trinket. The subtle difference is the Tailor Made Tag they are presented on.
Between the stamps, the dies and the DSP, there are nearly endless options to make your cards special!
