I've recently been creating with this layout, and all the cards look different. That's the beauty of a "layout" or "sketch idea"- they can easily be changed with new colors, stamps or Designer Series Paper, and they all look different.

All of these cards have a card base with a strip of DSP, and then two panels of paper popped up on Dimensionals. And they all look different.
So back to today's sample:
I used Whisper White cardstock for the top panels, and just a strip of the Come Sail Away DSP. Some measurements:
Thick Whisper White card base is 5-1/2" x 8-1/2", scored at 4-1/4" to create the card.
The DSP strip is 5-1/4" x 1-1/2", and is adhered directly to the card base, slightly below the halfway mark.
Prior to adhering the DSP, though, I tied a piece of the Navy/Sahara Sand Bakers twine around it, then glued it to the card front:
The Sail Away Trinket was added with a Glue Dot when the card was just about done.
Two Whisper White strips, one being 5-1/4" x 2-1/4" and the other is 5-1/4" x 1-1/4" are the top pieces. The top piece was stamped with birds from Sailing Home and run through the Ruffled embossing folder (now retired 😕). The bottom piece was stamped three times with the rope image to create a border.
The boat was stamped and colored with Stampin' Blends, then cut with the Smooth Sailing dies, and popped up on a Stitched Shape circle. This was added to a shape created with Night of Navy cardstock and a die from the Painted Labels collection.
