How would you like to make FREE cards? Well, almost FREE. It's easy with the Sale-a-Bration offerings of the Special Moments stamp set and the Simply Marbleous patterned paper. I decided to make some simple cards to showcase these products:
Check out those amazing background papers! Simply Marbleous is a pack of 48 sheets of 6" x 6" double-sided paper, 8 sheets each of 6 different colors, with gorgeous swirls on one side and a more subtle swirly pattern on the other. I decided to try using the paper for some cards, and then remembered the Special Moments stamps. So:
Using Basic White Note Cards & Envelopes, I decorated the front of each notecard with a 3" x 4-1/2" piece of the patterned paper layered on a 3-1/4" x 4-3/4" piece of coordinating cardstock. Here we have Gorgeous Grape and Coastal Cabana.
And here is Bumblebee and Flirty Flamingo:
And finally, Night of Navy and Basic Gray:
Each card has a greeting from Special Moments, stamped in the coordinating ink color and cut with a die. I also added a piece of ribbon to most of the cards, and used a piece of the patterned paper to make a coordinating envelope flap.
But then I wanted to put them all together to make a little gift, so:
A Mini Paper Pumpkin Box to the rescue! Decorated with a sheet of the Simply Marbleous paper and an easy, layered label, this is now ready to gift! And with the exception of the notecards, die cuts and box, the project is basically FREE!
