Well, how about a sneak peek of an upcoming stamp set with some "lemonade cake"?
I have totally flipped over Hand Delivered, a Host set from the new Stampin' Up! catalog, coming June 1st. It's an adorable set of 'skirts and legs' that have different 'tops'--here is the sign (complete with hands holding it); it has different sentiments that you can use on the sign. There is also balloons, a wedding cake and a stack of books/presents. So perfect for so many occasions!
And paired with the fabulous colors from the lemonade cake, this is one sweet card!
First, the stamp--I stamped the skirt/legs, and then used another stamp for the patterns in the skirt. CUTE! Then I stamped the sign/hands, and added the flowers and sentiment. Everything is colored with Stampin' Blends (making a comeback in June, with LOTS of new colors - YIPPEE!). Check out those wonderful Lovely Lipstick shoes!
For my background I used (from the left) Calypso Coral, Flirty Flamingo, *new* Mango Melody, and Daffodil Delight. If you've been watching the Stampin' Up! news about the new color revamp, you know that we are changing colors/families, and Flirty Flamingo (a current In Color that is due to retire) is staying, joining the Brights collection. Mango Melody is a brand new color - a gorgeous bright yellow-y orange, lighter and brighter than Pumpkin Pie (which is moving to the Regals family), and a great match with Daffodil Delight.
And check out that flirty ribbon--this Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon is so fun! Light-weight tulle with felt-like polka dots all over it; it comes in Whisper White and Very Vanilla.
I framed my white focal panel with a combination of Mango Melody and Flirty Flamingo:
Isn't this just the cutest?

Thanks, Bonnie--and thanks for sharing the photo of the cake--it got my creative juices going, as well as my stomach juices.
