Sweet as a Peach, Two Ways

Here's a card we made in my Card Club in July.  It features Sweet as a Peach, and we did some blending with Blending Brushes.

It was also a "fun fold" card - the front panel of the card was cut down so there was only one 1-1/4" strip on the left side, and then a smaller panel was placed on the front, overlapping the Basic White layer inside.

We started by stamping the leaf image in Pear Pizzazz, and then adding the peaches, which were inked with Pale Papaya and then had some Calypso Coral sponged directly on the stamp.  This gave us very realistic looking peaches!

Then using a Blending Brush we added some Balmy Blue around our stamped images.  Boy did this make those peaches pop!

A strip of polka-dotted You're a Peach patterned paper adorns the edge, and a strip of Pale Papaya and White 1/2" ribbon was our only embellishment.  But it' such a pretty card.

Now by Stampin' UP! rules, I can't include stamped images on my Cards-to-Go kits, so I substituted a piece of the You're a Peach paper:

Which is your favorite?

Don't forget about the Designer Series Paper sale, going on now through the end of the month.  You're a Peach is one of the papers on sale for 15% off - who wouldn't love to save while stocking up?
