Let the Paper Do the Talking

Have you seen the gorgeous Expressions in Ink designer series paper? If you visit my blog, you probably have, because it is truly my FAVORITE paper EVER! The patterns, splattered with gold foil highlights, are fabulous, and the colors are so beautiful. 😍

So when designing a card for my FIRST In Person Card Club in over a year (!!!), I couldn't help but choose this paper to feature for one of the cards. And here is the card:

Sweet perfection...

No sentiment, simple and perfect just as is!

A piece of the patterned paper behind a Basic White frame (cut using two nesting Stitched Rectangle dies) and popped up on some Polished Pink cardstock for a pop of color against the Thick Basic White card base.

The detailed leaves were cut from Gold Foil with the Artistic dies. They are tucked behind the frame at the bottom, and layered over the frame on the side. And anchored with a bow of Polished Pink Open Weave Ribbon.

I made two cards, different only in that the floral pattern was cut from different parts of the sheet of paper.

Perfect simplicity!
