A Waterfront Birthday

Waterfront is the perfect stamp set to use for creating masculine birthday cards:

And stamping it on the Wood Textures paper makes it even better!

I chose two wood patterns that had a rugged, weathered look, and stamped a landscape on the lighter, whitewashed piece.

This was mounted to a piece of Early Espresso, and then on the darker, old-wood paper (which was adhered to an Early Espresso base).

All that was needed was a strip of Braided Linen Trim and a sentiment, stamped directly on the DSP.

Done!  

I hope my son-in-law loves his card!
