Sponged Springtime

Time to have a little fun with the Springtime Foils Designer Series Paper.  This gorgeous paper is a heavy-weight, embossed cardstock that comes in four designs and is FREE with a qualifying Sale-a-Bration purchase.  I chose the copper-foiled "bubbles" to play with:

Taking a cue from Rachel Tessman, a very talented Stampin' Up! demonstrator, I used the colors she suggested to create this card--it feels like springtime to me!

I started with a Peekaboo Peach card base.  The Springtime Foils piece is 3-3/4" wide by 5-1/2" long, and I sponged it with Peekaboo Peach and Lemon Lime Twist.  No specific pattern; just random sponging all over.  This was then attached to a slightly wider Whisper White layer and adhered to the card.

The sentiment got special treatment - Thanks, from Jar of Love, was stamped with Versamark ink and heat embossed with Copper embossing powder.  It was then punched with a 1-1/2" circle punch and layered over a Copper Foil starburst (I used a retired scalloped punch, punched once and then punched again, slightly off-setting the "teeth" to make pointed tips, but you can achieve the same look with the Layering Circles dies).  This was adhered with Dimensionals for a little pop, and the Lemon Lime Twist Ombre Ribbon was tied in bow.

The card is finished with some Tutti Frutti Adhesive Backed Sequins.

Thanks, Bonnie; when I look at this card I think either "spring" or "sherbet" ice creams! :)
