One Card - Two Ways

For my March Card Clubs I decided to give my attendees a choice of which card they wanted to make.  Now I don't usually have the option to do that, as this causes difficulty with ink pads (different colors) and stamps (using the wrong color); but what the heck!  I thought I'd give it a shot.  I also had a fair amount of the FREE Sale-a-Bration Glimmer paper in yummy colors and wanted to show them off.

So here were the choices:

Basically the same, but in two color combinations and an option for a "celebrate" card or a "happy" card.  The nice thing was that the class participants could use either occasion with either color combo.

Let's take a closer look:

Here the card is in Daffodil Delight with Bermuda Bay.  Both cards had a Thick Whisper White base.  The solid-colored card stock (here, Daffodil Delight) took a trip through the Big Shot with the Large Polka Dot embossing folder, and then we adhered a strip of Brights Paper Stack with the Bermuda Bay dotted DSP.

"Happy" was embossed with the Celebrations Duo Textured Impressions Embossing Folders.  These two folders "deboss" the paper; the image is indented INTO the paper instead of being raised.  So when we took Bermuda Bay and Daffodil Delight ink on the dots from Happy Celebrations and stamped, it makes the word pop!

Two thin strips of the gorgeous Bermuda Bay glimmer paper finished this card.

And on to the other:

Similar process, using Rich Razzleberry cardstock and the Sweet Sugarplum dotted paper from the In Color Designer Series Paper Stack.  This time our ink colors were Sweet Sugarplum and Soft Sky, and we trimmed our cards with the Sweet Sugarplum glimmer paper.

So pretty!

So which one do you think was the favorite?
