A CASED Birthday Card

Have you heard of CASING?  CASE stands for Copy And Share Everything (or Copy And Steal Everything, for those of us who don't want to give credit for copying! 😝)

Well I saw this cute card on one of Mary Fish's blogs (quite a while ago) and decided it was time to recreate it:

Clean and simple--something I'm not really that good at.  But I really like how it came out.

This is the Picture Perfect Birthday stamp set, with the Picture Perfect Party Designer Series Paper.  And other than trying to line up the candles, it's an easy project.

Cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock with the Stitched Shapes Framelits, and stamp the three candles using Bermuda Bay, Berry Burst and Lemon Lime Twist inks.  Add some Daffodil Delight flames.

Mount this to a larger square of Basic Black (using the Layering Squares Framelits).

The card base is Thick Whisper White.  There is a layer of Basic Black, and a slightly smaller piece of Whisper White, with a strip of the Picture Perfect Party DSP on a Black strip.

Stamp the sentiment in Basic Black ink, add the candles with Dimensionals, and make a birthday girl happy!
