Whale Love

Whale Done is such a cute set! And the suite of products that coordinate with it is amazing! I pulled out all the stops to create this:

Aren't those whales adorable? Just punched pieces, using the Whale punch with Pretty Peacock, Pool Party and Whisper White cardstock.

The Whale of a Time Designer Series Paper was cut in half, and I used a 3/4" punch to create "waves" along the top.

And check out that background! That's the Seabed embossing folder, which adds seaweed/sea grass, starfish, and bubbles to your cardstock.

I stamped directly on the DSP, using Pretty Peacock ink. And how about those ribbon waves? That's Pool Party 3/8" Sheer ribbon - I laid down a piece of Tear & Tape Adhesive, then stuck the ribbon to it in "waves".

Time for Cocktails?

Have you seen the new Rainbow Glimmer Paper? OMG, it's so beautiful! I had an idea on how to use it as a sunset, and then I combined it with Nothing's Better Than stamps and the Friendly Silhouettes dies to make this:

Since I can't go on vacation right now, I thought I'd bring a tropical evening to me! 😃

Look at that spectacular sunset - the Rainbow Glimmer Paper is a 12" x 12" sheet (there are two in a package) with a rainbow of colors in an ombre effect! I cut a 5-1/2" x 3-3/4" piece with the Friendly Silhouettes dies, and layered it over a Basic Black card base. LOVE!

But what's this I see?

Those glasses are facing in opposite directions? Are there two stamps? NO...so how did I do that? Watch the video below and see the trick for getting your stamps to reverse.

June Cards by Mail

Today I have some videos for my customers who have purchased my June Cards by Mail packets. This was the first time I have tried this and I truly appreciate all of you who have supported my new venture.

Normally I will not be making these videos public; they will only be for those who purchased Card by Mail. However, for this first-time experiment, I thought I'd like to get feedback from anyone (purchasers or not) who watch these videos.

June Paper Pumpkin - OMG!

I'm only halfway through my June Paper Pumpkin box, but OMG! These are the cutest cards! I absolutely LOVE them!

The Sharing Sunshine box this month is the bomb! If you like bright, cheery colors, you would love this. Starting with the box itself:

Wouldn't you love to get this in your mailbox? This special box was designed to "share sunshine" with a friend, family member, neighbor, or even a stranger. After completing the 8 included cards, we were instructed to fill the box with yellow-colored items (snacks, small toys, anything yellow) and slap on the included label and wonderful, fruity die-cuts. Then we were asked to send on the box of goodies to brighten someone's day. How fun!

And then there are the cards:

The gorgeous card base has a yellow marble-like look. The black-and-white panel was an included self-adhesive die cut. Then those lemons: die cuts to just pop on with the included glue dots or dimensionals. I only had to stamp the label (stamp set included) with the (also included) Basic Black ink spot and add it with the dimensionals. A few sequins finished off this card.

And how about this one:

Another bright card base, on which I stamped the sun and black lines. The greeting was stamped on the included die-cut label, which was added over the polka dot strip. Easy and so fun! The cards even come with envelopes with pretty gold foiled accents!

A Day Without Chocolate

Who could ever imagine a day without chocolate? Certainly not me!

So here's an adorable stamp set that highlights all those special things we can't live without: chocolate, cocktails, coffee and cookies! 😂

And this card is extra special, because it has moving parts; when you open it, a new greeting slides into view:

When making the card, you actually have three basic parts, a front, a middle and a back, that when put together, allows a panel to move, revealing the "hidden" message.
