It's Day 4 of my Christmas cards, and today we'll step into a serene forest:
Ahhh, lovely...
Lovely as a Tree, that is! Yes, that old stand-by makes a perfect Christmas tree, doesn't it?
The base of this card was
Thick Whisper White cardstock, cut 4-1/4" x 11", and scored at 5-1/2". Then we took a piece of
Whisper White, cut 4-1/4" x 5-1/2", ran it through the
Big Shot with the
Woodland Embossing Folder, and adhered it to cover the entire front of the card.
Our tree was stamped in
Smoky Slate, and we added "ornaments" (some thought they looked like pine cones) using the
Painted Harvest set with
Basic Gray ink.
The strip with the tree was adhered to a piece of
Champagne Foil and added to the front of the card.
We finished by stamping "peace" from
Christmas Quilt, cutting it out with the
Layering Ovals framelits, and adding it to a layer of Champagne Foil cut with the
Stitched Shapes framelits.
So pretty and peaceful...
