Cue the Confetti!

Time to look at another upcoming offering from the Occasions Catalog, Picture Perfect Birthday.  Since I have a daughter-in-law who has a birthday next week, I thought I would play with some of my new "toys".  They won't be released until January 3, but as a demonstrator, I get to order early...yea!

This is a cute and very quick card, but I love the bright colors and the sequins.

The card base is Thick Whisper White.  I added a 2" strip of Picture Perfect Party 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper on the left side of the card.  This paper is fabulous!  A Stampin' UP! artist designed it using real images (this one is strips of paper); it was photographed for one side of the DSP, and there are graphic images on the other.  Some of the photo images include candles, birthday hats and blowers, and balloons.  And all in fantastic, bright colors!

After adhering the DSP, I took one of the little stamps and stamped "plus signs" along the edge, using Peekaboo Peach ink.  And check out those sequins!  They are the Tutti-frutti Adhesive-Backed Sequins...YES!  Adhesive backed!  Yippee!  And they come with all these colors (5 in all) in one pack!

I stamped "cue the confetti" with Melon Mambo ink and tied a knot of 1/2" Finely Woven Ribbon in Lemon Lime Twist.  Done!  And so cute!

These products are coming your way soon...

What?  You can't wait?  Why not purchase a Starter Kit now, and you can order these products for your kit?  Just $99 gets you $125 worth of products and there is never ANY obligation to do anything else!  If you choose to continue, you will get a discount on all your purchases.  And if you choose to have a business, you can do it your way.  You have NOTHING to lose!  Click here and choose "Join the Fun" and you'll be on your way to playing with Picture Perfect Party too!

Priscilla, this is a LOVELY card. You've added so many nuances, like the sequins, that it really holds the interest.

Thanks, Jackie! This was such an easy card to make - and would be easy to duplicate - but was so much fun with all the colors and the new paper. And those sequins are great--just peel and stick!
