One of the sets that spoke to me (actually screamed at me!) is the Magical Day stamps and Magical Mates Framelits Dies. My two boys were huge (and I mean HUGE) Lego fans, and the characters in this collection reminds me of some of the figures they used to play with.
Today I chose to create with a unicorn...Let's have a look:
Never having been especially interested in unicorns, I can't tell you why I chose this stamp to ink up first. But I loved the whimsical horse (with a horn) that I can color in all sorts of magical ways.
And I got to play with the new Stampin' Blends! These fabulous alcohol markers make you feel like an artist! I chose to use the light and dark tones of Pink Pirouette, along with both shades of Bermuda Bay. And where did I come up with this color combination?
Looking at the wonderful (sparkly) Myths & Magic Specialty Designer Series Paper! Can you see the iridescent glittered designs? Such fun!
Magical Day will be here soon...
Need a catalog? If you don't have a Stampin' UP! demonstrator, I would love to help. Just contact me and I'll get one out to you right away...like magic!
And don't forget! Tomorrow (December 30) is the last day to reserve your Stamparatus! Orders will be filled in order of reservation, but should begin shipping in February. All you need to do is go to my online store, click "shop now" and look for the Stamparatus banner; add your credit card number (you won't be charged until the unit is shipped) and wait for your Stamparatus to arrive.
Take advantage of this special reservation period; if you miss it, you'll have to wait until the new Annual Catalog comes out in June--think of how sad you'll be when everyone else is positioning their stamps with ease!
