Hello Friends,

Time for a look at one of my favorite new items from the Holiday Catalog, the Chevron Border Punch (#132154, $21.95).

This hefty punch is a go-to must have for trendy designs and masculine cards (and we all struggle with those, huh?).

Although a little difficult to see in the photo, I punched the border from the Basic Gray layer and placed some Coastal Cabana Core'dinations behind it.  Then I took the punched pieces (why waste them?) and adhered them, continuing the pattern.  The middle layer of Coastal Cabana was run through the Big Shot (don't have one?  You NEED one of these!) with the Chevron Embossing Folder.

Stamps:  Perfectly Penned (w: #128703, $16.95; c: #122892, $12.95)
Ink:  Basic Gray Classic Stampin' Pad (#126981, $5.95)
Paper:  Smoky Slate (my new yummy!)  (#131202, $6.95), Basic Gray (#121044, $6.95, Core'dinations In Color Collection in Coastal Cabana (#129957, $11.95), Whisper White (#100730, $8.50)
Goodies:  Chevron Border Punch; SNAIL Adhesive (#104332, $6.95), Candy Dots Neutrals (#130934, $5.95); Chevron Embossing Folder (#127749, $7.95) and the Big Shot (#113439, $99.95).

Let's start creating!
