Today is my daughter-in-law's birthday. Sarah is a teacher, and I wanted to make her a special card. This was the result:
This is the "chalkboard" technique (stamping on black cardstock and embossing with white embossing powder--ALWAYS use an Embossing Buddy!, then rubbing on a little white ink to mimic chalk dust. How cute is that? And I made the card into a little chalkboard, adding woodgrain-stamped paper strips to look like an easel.
Of course you HAVE to have a birthday banner, right?
