Treat Packaging, Day 2

Do you have the Gift Bag Punch Board?  Look what I made:

These adorable little bags hold small treats for holiday gifting (mine has Lindor Truffle candies in them).  Each is created using the Gift Bag Punch Board using the "small" size with Merry Music Specialty Designer Series Paper.  They are easy to create, fun to decorate, and a happy surprise to receive.

Let's take a closer look:
After creating and filling the bag, I cut some of the houses from the Hometown Greetings Edgelits dies using Basic Black cardstock.  I just trimmed to fit the front of the bag and adhered with Tear and Tape adhesive and some Multipurpose Glue.

Here's another using Whisper White houses.  The sentiment (Musical Season) was stamped and embossed using Silver Embossing powder.

Want a more formal look?  Add a topper cut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits and a pretty bow, using the Bow Builder Punch for a "tuxedo" bag.  Here I embossed the sentiment with Gold Embossing Powder.

Or how about a musical version?  Just cut the horn with Gold Foil and the Musical Instruments Framelits dies and clip with a Gold Library Clip.

Wouldn't you love to get one of these little treats?

Pretty Wrapping

I held my team meeting two weeks ago and got to award two of my downline members for some recent achievements.

Judy reached a new level, Senior Associate, and I made her a little bag to hold some Glitter ribbon:

I used the Season of Cheer and the Gift Bag Punch Board, then topped it off with a Tea Lace Paper Doily and a Metallic Foil Doily.
I punched a gold bow using the Gold Foil Sheets and Bow Builder Punch, and added a sentiment cut out with the Tags and Labels Framelits.

Congrats to Judy!

Michelle was not able to come, but she had her highest sales ever; her gift was wrapped in a Tag a Bag Gift Box:
Adding a piece of Season of Cheer DSP over the top (and inside the plastic sleeve) really dresses this up.  It's tied with some Organza Ribbon and embellished with Silver 1/8" ribbon and Silver Sequins.  The tag is a sneak peek at a sentiment from Suite Sayings, coming in January.  It was stamped in Soft Sky and Pear Pizzazz and added to a tag of Silver Foil.  Sparkly!

Fun and easy ideas to dress up your holiday gifts!

Isabella's Birthday

Today is Isabella's birthday...my granddaughter is becoming a teenager.  I haven't had the pleasure of watching her grow all 13 years, as she only entered my family 3 years ago.  But she is a lovely young lady, and she appreciates my crafting!  So I had to make her something special:

Build a Birthday is such a fun set, and was one of the first on my "had to purchase" list from the new catalog.  And it works great with the Cherry On Top Designer Series Paper Stack.

My sweet little love note card is 3" x 3"; the base is Cucumber Crush, with a layer of Whisper White.  Strips of the Designer paper were added and I stamped the little flags and sentiment using Watermelon Wonder and Cucumber Crush.  This was punched out using the 2-1/2" Circle Punch and popped up with Dimensionals.  A Whisper White Bakers Twine bow is the finishing touch.  And of course a matching envelope of Watermelon Wonder Envelope Paper, made with the Envelope Punch Board!

Then a gift bag (with a little bling - necklace - and a gift card to her favorite place to shop); this was such fun to make with the Gift Bag Punch Board and Cherry on Top DSP:

You're So Sweet is a stamp set made to go with the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies, but it was the perfect set to dress up my gift bag.  I first stamped the label in Cucumber Crush and cut it out with the Treat Bag Thinlits dies.  I then stamped it again (masking the "just for you" in the center) using Crushed Curry ink and hand snipped around the border.  The "happy birthday" is from the Tin of Cards stamp set, and was perfect in Watermelon Wonder ink.

See those sequins?  LOVE!!!  They are now available in Blushing Bride as well as Bermuda Bay

This gift set is on it's way to San Diego to wish Isabella a wonderful transition to the teen years!  Happy Birthday, sweetheart!
