Sample from OnStage

When I attended Stampin' UP!'s OnStage convention last week I received a new stamp set and was able to create with it using some of the new In Colors.

 The Impressions Abloom bundle will be available through the OnLine Exclusives in early May.  And it is such a versatile and fun set.  With flowers in different sizes it will be fun to create lovely floral cards.

The sample I was SUPPOSED to make called for a Timid Tiger card base with white panels on top.  But with such a small area of Timid Tiger showing, I opted to cheat and make the white my card base, cutting strips of Timid Tiger to lay over the top.  After all, I only received 4 sheets of Timid Tiger - why would I waste a full half sheet on a card with only two little strips showing?  😉

I got to use some new In Colors - Strawberry Slush, Timid Tiger and Darling Duckling, along with Granny Apple Green (which I stamped off first to create lighter-colored leaves and flower stems).  And the greetings were stamped with Secret Sea, a beautiful new color that is a deep blue/black, almost charcoal- like.  It may be my favorite new color! 

My box of pre-ordered goodies arrives today, and I can't wait to start playing with more of these colors!
