Revisiting my favorite suite in the January - June 2021 Mini Catalog - the Sand & Sea Suite. Today I'm only focusing on the gorgeous stamped shells, the Pearlescent Paper and the Seashells Embossing Folder:
I created a beach scene by combining some old and some new stamps.
I started by color washing the Watercolor Paper with the new Water Painters and some Seaside Spray ink. Then I took the "water" stamp in High Tide, repeatedly stamping the ocean with more Seaside Spray ink.
I stamped "sand" on the Sahara Sand cardstock and tore it to look like sand dunes. Then I stamped the shell images on the Pearlescent Paper, cut them out and embossed them before hiding them in the sand.
All it needed was some birds; again High Tide and also Sailing Home had the perfect stamps!
It's snowing here in Oregon today; this card is making me look forward to the summer!
