Each month, since the pandemic took it's toll on our Card Club gatherings, I've been providing my friends with Cards by Mail. I prepare 4-5 cards, including die-cut pieces, ribbons and embellishments, package them up with detailed instructions, and mail them out to be completed at home. Today I'll show you the 5 cards I offered this month.
First up, two cards using my favorite suite of products, Sand & Sea:
I think this was my favorite card this month. The Seaside Spray cardstock was embossed with the embossing folder and ribbon and label were included. I also sent a piece of the patterned paper with the shells, and everyone got to "fussy cut" the ones they wanted on their card. Simple, elegant and beautiful!
Then we had two cards featuring the Ice Cream Corner suite:
Now if this looks familiar, I created a similar card (although it was a Notecard & Envelopes size) when the January - June 2021 Mini Catalog was about to debut. I redesigned it for a full-size card and offered it in two color schemes. It featured the Curvy dies along with the Ice Cream Corner patterned paper, Layering Circle and Stitched Shape dies and the Ice Cream Cone Builder Punch. And do you see those sprinkles? They are the Ice Cream Corner Sprinkles and I packaged up a bunch for each person to customize their cone as they wanted.
And finally, I featured a card using one of the FREE Sale-a-Bration offerings (with a $100 qualifying purchase) - the Berry Blessings Stamp Set and Berry Delightful DSP. Of course I couldn't include stamped images, but that didn't stop us from making a cute card:
Everyone got strawberries and leaves from the DSP, which were fussy-cut for their card. The plaid paper is from the SAB pack, and I also included Stitched Rectangle and Stitched So Sweetly die-cut layers.
I've had some feedback about the cards, and it seems that everyone was very happy with this month's offering. I'm already planning ideas for my February class; stay tuned for details on how you can get a pack of ready-to-complete cards delivered right to your door!
