My friend, Gail, created a cute card, and I asked if I could CASE it (Copy and Share with Everyone). She gave her permission, so I went to town. I ended up changing a few things, and really like the way it turned out.
What's especially nice about it is that the patterned paper was FREE! Yes, it's one of the current Sale-a-Bration offerings, and I couldn't pass it up! It's the Flower & Field Designer Series Paper, and it's FREE with a $50 qualifying order. There are 12 sheets of 12" x 12" paper -- that's a LOT of cards!
I started with a 3-3/4" x 5" piece of Granny Apple Green and layered on three 1-1/2" x 3-5/8" strips of the patterned paper. Then I wrapped it in a retired piece of Granny Apple Green ribbon and adhered it to the Thick Basic White card base.
And who remembers the Daisy punches? I chose the Medium Daisy Punch and punched out two layers of Basic White, glued them together and sponged on a little Pool Party ink. Then I just punched a small Daffodil Delight circle for the center.
The tag was stamped with a message from Quite Curvy and added with a snippet of Bakers Twine.
This came together so quickly I made another - I always need a simple notecard, don't you?
Flower & Field- a FREE offering during Sale-a-Bration. Be sure to check it out!
