Lasting Lily

Do you like FREE?  I do!  And I was thrilled when I was able to get this lovely Lasting Lily stamp set after I made a qualifying purchase.  Take a look:

This beautiful set is a DISTINKTIVE stamp - ones with "built in" depth and shading.  All you need to do is ink up the stamp with one color, and you get a lovely image with shading - simple!

I used Daffodil Delight ink for my lily, and Old Olive for the leaves.  This is a #simplestamping card on the front--just stamps, ink and paper.

Of course, I have a hard time with #simplestamping, and always need to add something; in this case I added in a strip of Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper along the edge, with some Old Olive Linen Thread:

The front of my card is trimmed one inch on the right, so it is 7-1/2" x 5-1/2", scored at 4-1/4".  This leaves some space on the edge to decorate with the DSP.

Lasting Lily is a FREE Sale-a-Bration item with a $100 purchase.  If you have a large order waiting to be placed, you might want to consider doing it now to get your Lasting Lily.  And (wait for it) there will be coordinating framelits dies to cut out your lilies come March 1.  Yippee!

Watch for more cards made with this gorgeous set!

More Tea Together

Well I warned you the other day that you'd be seeing more Tea Together from me, and today is the day!  I love the roses (and the coordinating Tea Time Framellits that are FREE with a qualifying order during Sale-A-Bration!) so here is another card using only the roses:

I stamped some of the roses and decided to color them with red - it was Valentines Day - so I pulled out my Poppy Parade Stampin' Blends (which hadn't had much love yet 😞).  And I went to town coloring.  I πŸ’–the Blends!!!

I also hadn't given my Delightfully Detailed Laser Cut paper any love, so out it came, and the rest is history!  Isn't it pretty?

The sentiment from Lasting Lily (another FREE Sale-a-Bration item!) was embossed on Poppy Parade using White Embossing Powder.

After layering the roses I painted on some Wink of Stella on the top one:

This card can be used for multiple occasions, from sympathy to recognizing a job well-done.  And these roses will be a staple in my stash for a long time!

Don't miss out on picking up the FREE Tea Time Framelits!  Sale-a-Bration is only around for another 6 weeks.  So place your qualifying order and get rewarded!

Flowers in a Tea Cup

Tea Together, a new stamp set in the Occasions Catalog, was not my cup of tea (pun intended 😁) when I first saw it.  I've had other stamp sets with teapots and found I didn't use them all that often.  But then the coordinating framelits were introduced as FREE items in the Sale-a-Bration brochure.  And when I placed a large order, I chose to get the framelits as one of my FREE gifts.  And what am I going to do with the framelits if I don't have the stamp set?  Well...nothing.  So I ordered the stamps.

And I'm so glad I did!  They are much more versatile than I expected, mainly due to the fabulous flowers that are included...and I can cut them out!  So here is my first card made with Tea Together:

Do you remember this card?

I shared a few weeks ago, and it was one of the cards we made at the local Senior Center last week.  Well I had an extra packet, so I decided I really needed to make it up.  But I didn't feel like duplicating another birthday card, so...

This is a Whisper White Note Card, with a piece of Gingham Gala in Grapefruit Grove adhered to the front (I cut it out with the new Rectangle Stitched Framelits πŸ’–).  There's a piece of the Whisper White Flax Ribbon, and then the beautiful tea cup stuffed with roses.

And a pretty sentiment:

More πŸ’—!  The Well Written Framelits dies has SO many words to cut out!  You can make a card for nearly any occasion, so although this is an expensive bundle, it's definitely one to look at!

I'm in LOVE!  You'll be seeing many more "tea" cards over the next several weeks, as I can't stop playing with these framelits!

The Occasions Catalog is now live and with every qualifying order, you get a FREE Sale-a-Bration item.  And the second release of Sale-a-Bration starts tomorrow!  Check out the catalogs here:
