Bubbling Over

OK, have you ever found something on Pinterest that you really liked?  And then couldn't find it again?  Yeah, that's what happened to me...😕

I was pretty sure I copied this card from someone, but I can't find the original post to give credit.  So I'm going to show you anyway, and if you know who did the original, please let me know so I can give them a shout out.

The first think I liked is the background.  The Springtime Foils Designer Series Paper (FREE Sale-a-Bration item until the end of March)is gorgeous by itself, but add a little color, and POP!  I sponged this with Bermuda Bay, Peekaboo Peach and Lemon Lime Twist.  What a yummy color combo!

Next comes the pretty Bermuda Bay-striped strip.  That's the FREE Bubbles & Fizz Designer Series Paper (also Sale-a-Bration).

Then the Lemon Lime Twist Swirly Scribbles die cut - just adds so much with a little embellishment.

And finally, there's those darn bottles--so cute when you stamp, cut, and add the labels.  Mine are Bermuda Bay and Calypso Coral, with Lemon Lime Twist labels.  And can you see the little drips at the tops of the bottles?  How fun!  The Glitter and Clear Epoxy Shapes add the final touch to make it real.

Cheers to Birthdays

It's my son's birthday (Happy birthday, Evan!) and since he's the kind of guy who likes to brew his own beer, I thought this would be a fitting card:

I love the Bubble Over stamp set, and had a great time combining this with the Wood Crate framelits dies.  Thought I'd send Evan a 6-pack!

The card base is Bermuda Bay, cut 5-12/" x 8-1/2'" and folded in half.  Then there is a layer of Early Espresso, followed by one more layer of Whisper White--this really makes the focal layer pop!

The Bubbles and Fizz Designer Series Paper is a FREE Sale-a-Bration offering, and coordinates perfectly with the Bubble Over set.  The Bermuda Bay stripes sheet was my pick for a background for my 6-pack.

I stamped 6 bottles using Early Espresso ink, and cut them all out with the Bottles and Bubbles Framelits dies.  Then I lined up 5 of them and placed the wood crate over them (I only cut one piece of the Wood Crate, and trimmed it to make this "flat" crate).  The Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack makes wonderful wood crates!

The one lone bottle got a special label, using Lemon Lime Twist and Bermuda Bay ink, and check out that little bottle cap!  So cute when cut with the Copper Foil paper.

And do you see these little frosty drops?

These are the Glitter and Clear Epoxy Shapes.  They are perfect for adding a little accent to bottles, bubbles to mermaids (see this card) or dew on flowers.

There's a new set in town and it's positively fun!

Bubble Over is the stamp set, but the accessories is what makes this so enjoyable to create with!  I like the bottles, but check out the tags:

There are a number of stamps you can use to create your own labels; put them together and layer them to send your own special message.

And look at the bubbles in the background--they are so cute when you add a little Wink of Stella.

The bottles and labels were stamped and cut with the coordinating Bottles & Bubbles Framelits dies (get the bundle and save 10%) and I layered them on ovals cut with Layering Ovals Framelits.  My colors are Bermuda Bay, Calypso Coral and Lemon Lime Twist, with a little Pool Party thrown in.

Doesn't this card just make you think of summer?  Refreshing!
