Celebrating Sale-a-Bration, Day 4

Who would have guessed that there are so many items you can snag for FREE with a qualifying purchase during Sale-a-Bration?  I've been featuring some of the products this week, and I have another for you today.  The Bee Builder Punch!

When Bee My Valentine came out last year, it quickly became a favorite, not just for Valentine's Day, but for a variety of occasions.  The Bee Builder Punch made creating this little bee so easy!

Bee My Valentine continues to be a current/available stamp set, but WAIT!  There is a new bee on the block!  If you've perused the new Scrapbooking Brochure. you might have seen the Meant to Bee bundle.  This adorable set includes two sizes of bees (one larger than the one above, and a smaller one) along with a few greetings and some flowers and really cute faces.  But the really great part of this bundle is the dies!  A set of hexagons in graduated sizes that not only cut the inside, but also a little rim around the outside of each die.  It's like getting 10 dies in one set!

Now back to my bee.  I stamped each piece and used the FREE Bee Builder Punch to crop the body, wings and antenna.  He's so sweet!

And do you see those hexagon die-cuts?  I cut two smaller ones (Basic White and Daffodil Delight) and two larger ones (Basic White and Floral Delight designer paper) and used the rims to set off the centers.

And those sequins!  I've had them sitting in my craft room for ages, but they were just right for this card - The Adhesive-Backed Glitter Sequins come in three colors, and I needed Old Olive!  Perfect!

Sale-a-Bration is coming to an end (the end of the month!) and you won't want to miss out on so many FREE goodies!  And to see the additional products now available as your gift with qualifying purchase, look here.

Bee My Valentine

I'm still stampin' in the cold...cold weather that is.  It's SO cold that I just want to hunker down in my craft room and stamp.  So that's what I did today, and I tried a new fun-fold card -- "Cascading Pleats".

This is like three cards in one!  And fun to make.

I started with a piece of Sweet Sorbet cardstock, measuring 9-1/2" x 4-1/4", and scored one end at 1", 2", 3" and 4".  This is accordion folded--start by "closing the card", then fold each section back and forth to zig-zag the front.  A little trimming between each section to lower each on a diagonal, and then I attached two more panels to the front.

When standing up, it looks like this from the top.

Then I got to decorate each panel.  I started with a layer of designer paper, coordinating three pieces from the Bee Mine pack.

The front panel got a Deckled Circle and then I cut a branch, some leaves and the bee hive using dies from the Fluffiest Friends set.

The bee was stamped and punched (Bee My Valentine set).

The middle panel has my favorite bee!  That face!  ðŸ’—

I also stamped two little hearts from the set, along with the sentiment.

And finally:

The last panel, inside the card.  A simple greeting with two little flowers on beehive paper.  So cute!

I think this card is sure to please my Valentine, don't you?

Bee My Valentine is available now in the January - April 2024 Mini Catalog.  And don't forget about Sale-a-Bration - any $50 purchase will qualify you for a FREE item from the Sale-a-Bration brochure.

Bee My Valentine

I've been showing cute animals all week, and today I have a bee.  I love this little bee from Bee My Valentine, a new stamp set/punch bundle now available in the January - April 2024 Mini Catalog.

Yesterday I showed a video using the Hooray For Surprises bundle, and I wanted to use it with a different die - the "zipper" die.  So I created this card to have a hidden message behind the "zipper".

I ink-blended the sky and cut the hills, layering the Granny Apple Green hills over my secret message (you can see the "zipper" in the grass).

I stamped and cut little flowers from Darling Details/Darling Details dies, and cut out the tree branch, leaves and beehive from the Fluffiest Friends dies.

The bee was stamped and punched with the Bee Builder Punch, and popped up on Dimensionals.

And although you can't see it unless I pull the "zipper" there's a message underneath:  "You're as sweet as honey"...aww...how cute is that?

Bee My Valentine is now available; grab it along with the Fluffiest Friends dies and you'll qualify for a FREE product from the Sale-a-Bration brochure!  It's the best time of the year to shop!
