Simple Sunrise Sailing

 Look how lovely a simple card can be:

The Sunrise Sailing Hybrid Embossing Folder is so pretty and peaceful!  Embossing the water, sailboat, clouds and even a few little birds all at one time is so easy, and makes such a pretty layer with lots of texture.  

I embossed the Basic White cardstock first, then added the sail details (it's a single stamp in the Sunrise Sailing stamp set).  I then cropped the cardstock to 3-3/4"x 5", deciding where I wanted the focus (on the boat, but with room for a small greeting).  This was layered on a piece of Basic Black cardstock, and then on to the Thick Basic White base.

There are also stamps in the set so you can stamp the sailboat alone or add details, stamp water, a bird and several sentiments.  And the Hybrid Embossing Folder allows you to cut the sailboat if you so desire.  But the simplicity of this card is what I love!
