20 Years!

 Have you noticed that little badge to the left of this column?  Wow! Does time fly!

20 years ago today I started my Stampin' UP! journey. At the time, my demonstrator kept asking me to join, as I was spending more and more on products, and I could have been saving at least 20% on all my purchases. But I kept putting her off. And she kept hounding me. And then one day, she told me she would no longer be holding classes in my community, as she was moving. She wanted to "give" me her customers. I was shocked, and (truthfully) quite apprehensive. But I didn't want to stop creating with my friends. So I took the plunge.  

On July 4th weekend,2005, I held my first open house and invited all the friends I had been stamping with. They supported me and signed up to host workshops. When I would teach in one of their homes another friend would sign up for the following month.

And that's how it all began.

And here I still am...20 years later! With a wonderful group of stamping friends in my downline as well as many who attend my monthly classes, sign up for my Cards-By-Mail, or place orders. Without you, I wouldn't be where I am today - a Silver Elite demonstrator with a healthy small business, and over 1300 Facebook followers. Your support, your encouragement and most of all your friendship has kept me going all these years, and I couldn't be more grateful!  

So congratulations to me, and a heartfelt THANK YOU to YOU! I SO appreciate you!  

And I look forward to my next milestone - 25 years! Can we do it? 😊
