Well a lot has happened since I last posted. I got very busy creating card kits for my in-person and Cards-by-Mail classes. I posted a few pics to my Facebook Priscilla's Papercrafts page, but never got back to my blog.
Last week I made a card that had 24 pieces to it. And I was using it for my classes, so I had to cut 26 of them - yikes! I had complained that I really needed to learn to make simple cards.
Well, I think I did it! Take a look:
Can it get much easier?
I used the Sunrise Sailing Hybrid Embossing Folder with a piece of Basic White cardstock. This created the embossed water, boat and clouds (and there are two tiny birds below the clouds on the left). Very pretty.
Then I stamped the greeting from Simply Said (I made these to send to customers who have recently ordered) using Tuxedo Black ink.
All that was left was to mount it on a base of Basic Black cardstock.
Easy peasy.
They may be easy, but I think they are stunning! I've got to learn to make more of these types of cards!
