Another Sunrise Sailing

Can I just tell you how much I love Sunrise Sailing? The stamps are very nice, with a large sailboat and versatile greetings, but the hybrid embossing folder is what makes the bundle!

I decided to try making a card from the dies, adding a greeting from the set at the last minute. Look:

Now doesn't that just make you want to head to the beach?

This was so fun to make! And it took very little time!

I started with a piece of Balmy Blue cardstock, 8-1/2" x 5-1/2", scored in half to make a card base. I then embossed a small piece of Secret Sea (this may be my favorite, or at least second favorite new In Color!) using the embossing folder, and adhered it to the card base.

The sun was cut with the Spotlight on Nature dies, and slipped under the "water".

Then the sailboats. I cut both the larger and smaller boats with Pecan Pie cardstock. And I cut the sails twice (Granny Apple Green and Lemon Lime Twist, and Pumpkin Pie and Peach Pie), trimming them in half and creating a bi-color sail for each boat.

The clouds are two more dies in the set, as are the little birds.

This just makes me happy!
