For some reason, I was having difficulty coming up with a way to use these small stamps on a full-sized card. But fortunately I spied a card by Wendy Weixler, and my creative juices took off.
After deciding on a Gray Granite/Seaside Spray color combo, I stamped the small flower stamp and colored it with Blends. Then it was punched out and layered on Seaside Spray cardstock punched with the Postage Stamp punch.
A few layers later, I added it to the gorgeous, textural patterned paper, In Good Taste.
My husband made me laugh when he said he actually had to feel the paper to ensure it was NOT textured!
So then I got inspired to create another Gray Granite card, mixing it up with some Pretty Peacock:
The center panel is one of the Posted for You stamps; the other two are from Forever Fern, and are stamped and cut with the Forever Foliage dies.
Isn't that a pretty color combo?
And look at that luscious ribbon! The Pool Party 3/8" Sheer Ribbon ties a beautiful bow!
I love everything about this card!
