Envelope Punch Board Box

Last week I showed a little box created from the Envelope Punch Board.  This is what it looked like:

Today I'll show you how to make one of these domed-topped boxes for yourself.

Start with a piece of 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper (I used Farmers Market).  Using your Envelope Punch Board, set your paper at the 1-1/2" mark and punch and score.

Now turn your paper 1/4 turn and place it at the 3" mark; punch and score.

Turn again, place at 1-1/2" and punch and score.

One more turn, place at 3" and punch and score.

Now, place the marker at the score line:

and punch.  Do this on all the score lines.  Your paper will end up looking like this:

Fold on the score lines, then snip the corners to the score line:

so your template looks like this:

Add some Two Way Glue to the corners:

And fold into a box:

Insert a brad on the wider, front side of box:

and punch a hole (1/4" punch) on the top flap:

Now gently fold in the two sides (don't score, just bend over towards the inside), fold the front flap over and into the inside, and fold the flap with the hole over the top, around the brad:

Voila!  Decorate and fill for a cute treat!

Thanks to LeeAnn Greff for the idea and video how-to!
