Another Day of Christmas Cards

Yesterday I shared that I would show you a set of Christmas cards that my attendees made over the weekend.  Today is day two, and I have this one for you:

This is such a pretty card...

Mint Macaron is not a "Christmas color", but everyone agreed that with the Pretty Pines pinecones and spray in Emerald Envy that it was just right.  The base is Mint Macaron and we have a layer of Whisper White, on which we stamped the sentiment from Wondrous Wreath in Emerald Envy.  Then we layered a triangular piece of Presents and Pinecones Designer Series Paper (ON SALE THIS MONTH!) and added our spray.

Pinecones were cut from Crumb Cake and we had a Real Red double bow, both included in the Pretty Pines Thinlits.

Our Real Red Enamel Shape from the Brights collection balanced our card nicely.

Time for Christmas Cards

It's only 84 days until Christmas, so it's time for a week of Christmas cards.  I had a party and invited everyone to come make cards for the holidays.  I thought I'd show you what we made this week.

Here's the composite of all six cards:

We used all new products from the Holiday Catalog.  And each day this week I'll give you the details.

So let's start with an easy, but lovely card:

The card base and layer is Garden Green, with the layer embossed with the Cable Knit embossing folder.  Since it looks like a sweater, we needed a sentiment that expressed something "warm"--the Tin of Cards stamp was perfect!

And of course we needed some mistletoe!  So out came the Pretty Pines Thinlits Dies, which made the perfect mistletoe and ribbon.

These are layered on two Whisper White squares--the Layering Squares framelits make this easy.

And we finished with a little Silver Thread, making for a lovely embellishment with a touch of sparkle.
