Pulling out some of my old goodies. Does this happen to you?--You get new "toys" and get all caught up in the newness of them, and forget about your old "toys"?
Yeah, I was not giving some of my formerly favorite toys any love, and decided to change that. So I pulled out my
Hexagon Hive Thinlets Die and look what I made:
I needed some thank you notes for customers, and thought this would be pretty. And I really like how they turned out.
After cutting out the die with
Basic Black card stock, I used scraps of
Everyday Chic Designer Series Paper to run through the die again. I also pulled out my
Honeycomb Hello stamps and then I went to town.
Laying the die cut black on my card base, I carefully stamped some of the stamps using
Basic Black ink. And "You're the Best" in
Watermelon Wonder.
Then I just adhered random pieces of the DSP under the die cut or on top of it. I finished by adhering the die cut to the card front using
Stampin' Dimensionals.
A little time consuming, but a smashing result!
