Team Meeting Rehash

Yesterday I told you about our wonderful team meeting that was held over the weekend.  Today I want to share with your a fabulous project that Bonnie brought:

Succulents!

Yes, Bonnie brought us the cardstock, inks and dies to create a wonderful array of succulent plants.  Here was her sample (that she gave me as a gift!  Thank you, Bonnie!):

This started as a photo cube, and Bonnie added the succulent plants around the top.  They look so real!

The "love" on the side was a left over from a class we had held earlier in the week, and it was the perfect addition to finish this beautiful sample.

Here are the plants I made:

Don't they look real?  The Succulent Framelits Dies make them so easy!  Just cut and sponge on some ink (we used Always Artichoke, Crumb Cake, Old Olive and Rich Razzleberry, along with a little Craft White ink).  Then we curled the edges and "cupped" the middles, and put them together with multipurpose glue.

Beautiful!

The Gang's All Here

I enjoyed a fun meeting with my team yesterday.  There were seven of us (we missed you Tani, Barb, and Nancy!), and we got together for a little celebration, a little business and a lot of creative sharing.  I thought I'd show you a little bit of our day.

Sampler Swap:
We decided ahead of time that we would all create a 3" x 3" square for a framed art sampler.  I had given everyone the colors in advance (so they squares would coordinate) but the rest was up to their imagination.  The color combination was taken from the Cupcakes and Carousels Designer Series Paper - Bermuda Bay, Calypso Coral, Early Espresso, Peekaboo Peach, So Saffron and Very Vanilla.  And here is the finished project:

Isn't that fun?  Here's a closer look:

The butterflies (top right) were created by me, and the flower wreath by Gail.

Here are Bonnie's adorable "Jar of Love" and Judy's pretty cut-out Stylish Stems design.

Capturing four squares:  My Flourish (top left) and Timeless Tags (top right), Ceresa's beautiful spring tulips (lower left) and my Hello Sun Shine square, and:

Crystals' lovely butterfly (on her own background paper) --love the sequin "body"!

The beautiful framed montage is now on a table in my entryway, welcoming everyone to "spring"!

You can make one too; products used are listed below.

Be sure to check back tomorrow to see one of the great projects we made.  Here we are with our creative endeavors:

So Very Much

Here's a simple Thank You card that  you can whip out in minutes:

And the best part?  The stamps are FREE through Stampin' UP's Sale-a-Bration, going on now.

This pretty card uses Avant Garden and So Very Much, two of the FREE offerings through the end of March.

The card base is Whisper White Thick cardstock, with a skinny layer of Sweet Sugarplum.  I stamped on Whisper White; the Avant Garden flowers are stamped with Sweet Sugarplum.  I stamped the first flower with full strength ink, then stamped it again for the lighter shade.  I did the same for the leaves, using Pear Pizzazz.

The sentiment is stamped in Rich Razzleberry, as are the centers of the flowers.

Simple, one layer, quick!  But oh, so pretty!
