Pizza Boxes?

Order me up some of those Mini Pizza Boxes!  They are the cutest little boxes we've had!  These white, food safe, 3-1/2" x 3-1/2" x 1" boxes are sturdy, handy and adorable!

So I started with the pizza box, and created a belly band using Emerald Envy Designer Series Paper.  Then, using the Layering Squares Framelits, I cut an Emerald Envy square and a slightly smaller Whisper White square.

Then it was time to decorate my belly band.

Using one of my very favoritest flower sets ever, I grabbed the Beautiful Bouquet stamps and stamped flowers in Berry Burst, Flirty Flamingo, Peekaboo Peach and Daffodil Delight, then cut them out using the coordinating Bouquet Bunch Framelits.

Isn't that perfect?  Ready to gift a yummy cookie, some Hershey Nuggets, or a little piece of jewelry.

Does anyone have a recipe for mini pizzas?

Anniversary Bouquet

Yesterday was my daughter and son-in-law's 5th Anniversary!  How does time go by that quickly?  I can remember the day like it was yesterday.  They were married at a beautiful winery in Temecula, CA; there was a gorgeous pergola covered in white roses overlooking the valley of vineyards--simply stunning view.  And of course, the day was perfect!

I wanted to commemorate their special day with a lovely card:

So of course I went to my favorite new stamp set, Beautiful Bouquet.

I started with a Soft Sky card base.  I cut another piece of Soft Sky at 5-1/4" x 4" and ran it through my Big Shot with the Layered Leaves embossing folder.  Then I cut an oval, using the Layering Ovals framelits.

The sentiment, also from the Beautiful Bouquet set, was stamped in Dapper Denim ink on Whisper White; this was adhered to the card front with Dimensionals.

I stamped a bunch of flowers using Peekaboo Peach, Wisteria Wonder and Soft Sky ink, and some leaves in Pear Pizzazz.  There were all die cut, using the matching Bouquet Bunch Framelits, and then I had fun layering everything on my card.

Mini pearls embellish some of the flower centers.

It all came together nicely, with lots of texture and dimension.

And inside:
A matching greeting.

Happy Anniversary Aly and Brandon!

Beautiful Bouquet

Although I can always appreciate a card that someone creates using a TON of cut out pieces, this is usually too much work for me.  So when I saw the new Beautiful Bouquet stamp set and matching Bouquet Bunch Framelits dies, I didn't spend too much time thinking about purchasing them because of all the little pieces.

Then I put together a large order and had lots of Stampin' Rewards money to spend.  Hmmm, back through the catalog, where I once again noticed the stamp set...and read the 12 (TWELVE) phrases, and got thinking about the wonderful bunch of stems for the flowers (this is the only set that has a "bouquet" of stems), and then that sample...I was hooked.  Ordered the bundle.

It was the first stamp set I reached for when my order arrived.  I stamped a number of the flowers, and then started cutting them out with the framelits.  Easy peasy!  And it really didn't take very long--I was able to use 4 of the framelits with each pass through the Big Shot; came together quickly.

And then I recreated the sample (using other colors):

L.O.V.E!

My Thick Whisper White card base was embossed with the new Polka Dot Basics embossing folder.  Using the Layering Squares framelits, I cut a Pool Party scalloped square and a Whisper White square.  The sentiment was stamped with Pool Party ink, and then I built my bouquet.  So pretty!

Unlike many other Stampin' UP! demonstrators, I am NOT a sucker for flower stamps.  I gravitate more towards shapes or stamps of "things" (like lighthouses, shells, butterflies, leaves, etc), but every now and then, a flower set will get me.  And in the new catalog, Beautiful Bouquet was the one!  I'm sure you'll be seeing more samples with this set, and if you are looking for some new flower stamps, check this set out--I think you'll L.O.V.E. it!
