A Beautiful Bouquet

Beautiful Bouquet is on the retiring list, along with the coordinating Bouquet Bunch dies.  ðŸ˜¢
I remember when I first purchased this set and how excited I was to use it.  And that excitement has never gone away.  Every time I pull out this set/dies, I feel some creative energy.  Maybe it's because of the large number of flowers you can stamp/cut out.  Maybe it's because your bouquet color palettes are nearly endless.  And maybe it's just because I LOVE flowers!

Anyway, had to pull this out one more time (although I'm contemplating keeping it for.ev.er.)

Can you say gorgeous???

OK, so I didn't mention that I also love purples and yellows together.

This card started with the Whisper White Ornate Layers die cut that I had sitting on my desk from another project (it was about to end up in my orphan box, but I decided to use it).  Then I wanted to fill it with color, and I perused my stash of Designer Series Papers, settling on Mosaic Mood (also on the retiring list).  And that led me to thinking about yellows...and eventually to purples...

Wowsers!  Lovely!  The flowers were stamped using Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather and Daffodil Delight.  I cut them with the dies, and then cut some of the background flower bunches with Purple Posy, and some sprigs of white.

I'm going to be sorry to see this go, but I know there are lots of lovely flower stamps yet to come.  If you would like to get this set, there's still time, but only this month.  Be sure to add it to your order now!

A Beautiful Bouquet

When needing a thank you card, don't overlook the annual catalog products.  There are so many beautiful stamp sets with which you can create lovely cards.  And coordinating dies can make your projects pop!

Here's an example, using an older set, Beautiful Bouquet:

See what I mean?

I love the mix of purples, pinks and oranges!  It makes such a bright bouquet!

The card base is Highland Heather, with a Whisper White layer, cut with the Stitched Rectangle dies.

See that light purple layer?  That's a FREE Sale-a-Bration offering, So Very Vellum Designer Series Paper.  You get three gorgeous colors, six 12" x 12" sheets, in Purple Posy (used here), Soft Sea Foam and Pool Party.  And it's already textured!  Wow!

And then that frame!  The fabulous Heirloom Frames Dies and Embossing Folders make a perfect surround for your sentiment.

The flowers were cut with the Bouquet Bunch dies after stamping with Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape, Lovely Lipstick and Mango Melody inks.

The greeting was stamped inside the frame and the bouquet was assembled on top, using lots of Dimensionals.

And finished off with some Noble Peacock and Holiday Rhinestones for just the right touch of bling!

Take a stroll through your Annual Catalog - I know you'll find more to love!

A Beautiful Bouquet

How about this for a wedding card:

Beautiful Bouquet is still one of my go-to sets for weddings, anniversaries and birthdays, even though it's been around for awhile.  So when I was doing a favor for a newly married couple, who happen to be brand new neighbors of ours, I pulled out this set to leave them a card in their new home.

I love all the white space - it really makes the flowers pop!

I embossed a piece of Thick Whisper White cardstock with the Subtle embossing folder, then cut  a window using the Frosted Frames dies.  This piece was then popped up on the Thick Whisper White card base with Dimensionals (after I stamped the sentiment with Shaded Spruce ink).

The flowers were stamped and cut with the coordinating Bouquet Bunch dies, and my card was just about complete.  I just added a few pearls and it was ready for this young couple.

Have you recently used an older (but wonderful) stamp set?  Don't forget what you have...it might just make the perfect card!
