Delightful Wishes

To wrap up my week of showing new products from the January - April 2025 Mini Catalog, I'm ending on a beautiful note - a card featuring Delightful Wishes and some coordinating designer series paper:

I love this card - the colors are so soft and pretty!

I started by stamping the flowers and leaves from the stamp set using Pool Party and Granny Apple Green (and stamping off for one of the layers).  These were all cut using the coordinating dies, along with a branch and the "wishing", a two-layer word with a background (Pool Party) and the more detailed word (Basic White).  When building this word, the Adhesive Sheets will be your best friend!

I cut a hole in the top layer of Basic White, using the Spotlight on Nature dies (and saving the cut-out piece for another project), then layered it over the pretty Floral and Gingham Vellum DSP, using Dimensionals.

The branch and flowers/leaves were added next, using Multipurpose Liquid Glue on the edges and Dimensionals (tiny pieces of Mini Dimensionals) to pop them up over the gingham layer.

I stamped the greeting in Pool Party and cut it with the coordinating die from the set.

And I finished with some of the tiny bee trinkets that are part of the suite - so cute!

The January - April 2025 Mini Catalog is now live.  Be sure to remember to reach $60 with each order so you can grab a FREE Sale-a-Bration item from the brochure!  There are some lovely products available for FREE, but only while supplies last!

Ocean Friends

With the release of the January - April 2025 Mini Catalog, I'm sharing some of my favorite new products, today being Ocean Friends.  Anyone who knows me knows I love beach-themed stamps and dies (having grown up on the Great South Bay on Long Island, NY) so of course this set HAD to make it into my stash!

Friends of the Ocean is a suite of products, including the Ocean Friends stamps and dies, along with the Soft Waves embossing folder and some great Friends of the Ocean Designer Series Paper.  What caught my eye, besides the ocean-theme, was the fabulous colors!  Right up my alley!  Melon Mambo, Calypso Coral, Pumpkin Pie, Lemon Lime Twist, Summer Splash and Berry Burst!

For my first card, (and one I used for a swap) I ignored the DSP (even though I LOVE it!) and focused instead on the things I could make with the dies.  The crab, the sea grass (or coral?) and those little starfish/flowers are all part of the die set.

I first stamped the crab - two step stamping in Peach Pie and Pumpkin Pie, then cut out all the pieces.  And I decided to add a few of my older favorites - Seaside Wishes sand dollar and starfish dies were just the ticket!

For my background I used the Soft Waves embossing folder - such dimension!

And here is a pic of all the cards I made for my swap:

I am sure to have lots of fun with this suite!

Sneak Peek - Heart Shaped Bunde

The new January - April 2025 Mini Catalog is now live!  And along with it is Sale-a-Bration, where every $60 purchase gets you a FREE gift from the Sale-a-Bration brochure.

Today I'll show you one of the beautiful sets available with a $120 purchase (because you get a stamp set AND a die set, so it's a "double" SAB purchase), Heart Shaped Bundle.

I CASED this card from Kim McGillis, with minor changes.  I needed an anniversary card for my niece and nephew-in-law and thought this would be perfect!  I love the soft colors, and that gorgeous vine-y heart is scrumptious!

This is a white-on-white card with a pop of Petal Pink.  The top layer is cut with the largest Stylish Shapes circle die and I saved the cut-out piece for the inside, mounting it to the Petal Pink layer and then popping up the top layer on Dimensionals.

That lovely heart is cut with the dies, as are the tiny flowers.  I added a touch of color using Blending Brushes, the embossed the greeting (from Country Flowers) with Wow White Embossing Powder on Petal Pink cardstock.

I love getting FREE stuff with every purchase, don't you?  Take a look at the Sale-a-Bration brochure and see what FREE items you can score!

Sneak Peek - Terrific Toadstools

Tomorrow is the day when the new January - April 2025 Mini Catalog will be live and available for ordering your favorite products.

This week I'll be showcasing a few of the wonderful new stamp sets that are coming, starting with Terrific Toadstools.

Eek!  Can a stamp be any cuter?

Or maybe "cute" isn't the right word...I'm not a fan of mushrooms, but these little toadstools reminded me of when I was 9 years old and dancing in a ballet recital, dressed as a mushroom in a red wide-brimmed hat with white polka dots - it was a story-book themed recital and I was a mushroom in the forest!

Anyway, I digress.

I needed a birthday card for a guy, my niece's husband.  I thought the woodsy feel of mushrooms and wood planks would work, and I love the outcome.  The card base is Wild Wheat, with two strips of Country Woods DSP, and a Nested Essential die-cut label in Pecan Pie.

I stamped some "dirt" from the stamp set across the bottom of the slightly smaller Nested Essential die cut in white, then added some toadstools.  The larger ones were punched with the coordinating punch while the smaller ones were stamped directly on the label.

And inside:

I couldn't resist a little pun!

The Terrific Toadstools bundle is coming soon, and if you purchase it, be sure to add a few more items to your order so you can get the Toadstool Gardens DSP pack (48 sheets of 6" x 6" paper in gorgeous colors) absolutely FREE during Sale-a-Bration!
