Lots of Samples

I'm traveling this week, but I have a lot of samples from the January - April 2023 Mini Catalog and Sale-a-Bration brochure. I participate in a "swap" with other demos, where we create cards using new products and share them with the others in our group. I made 12 cards using both the new Mini and SAB, so I got 24 cards in return. I thought I could share them this week, so you can get ideas for your new products.

First up are two cards that use the SAB set Beautifully Happy, while one also used the new Favored Flowers Designer paper. The paper is FREE with a $50 purchase; the stamp set is FREE with a $100 purchase.

Jan Break made the card on the left, while Tammy DeWitt created the one on the right. Let's take a closer look:

Tammy stamped her flowers and cut them out. Her colors are Soft Succulent and Fresh Freesia.

Tammy used some Wink of Stella to pretty-up her flowers!

Tammy's card also used the same flowers, also cut out and with the same colors. But she added a number of other products - the Cane embossing folder for the Rich Razzleberry card base, the Desert Details dies, cut with Fresh Freesia cardstock, and the patterned layer of Favored Flowers DSP also cut with a die form Desert Details.

Tammy also used the Wink of Stella on her flowers.

Isn't it fun to see how different these two cards are? They use the same colors, the same stamp sets, but then the added details diverge, creating two distinctly different projects.

Celebrating Sale-a-Bration

How about a week of ideas using products from the Sale-a-Bration brochure? You ARE aware that Sale-a-Bration is going on now, right? And that for every $50 order made, you get to choose a FREE item from the brochure?

Well let's take a look at some of the products that you could choose with your qualifying order. I'll have samples all week using many of those products.

Starting with...drumroll...Dainty Flowers 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper! This beautiful paper is pretty enough to stand on its own for a card front. But it coordinates with the Dainty Delight Bundle in the January - April 2023 Mini Catalog. The bundle (stamps and dies) is $54.75 - enough to earn you the FREE Dainty Flowers paper!

For my project today, I only used the FREE paper, along with some cardstock and stamp supplies. The Dainty Designs paper is the star of the show:

For this set of notecards, I only used ONE sheet of the Dainty Designs paper. Just ONE! This particular piece has floral designs on the top and bottom edges of the paper - cut the paper in half at 6", then trim each half in 4" x 5-1/4" pieces and voila! SIX cards! Let's take a closer look:

Mounted on Mossy Meadow cardstock and stamped with Framed Florets in Mossy Meadow ink.

Another Framed Florets greeting, this time in Rich Razzleberry, and mounted to Blushing Bride cardstock.

This greeting, from Color & Contour, was stamped in Rich Razzleberry, which is also the card base color.

One more Framed Florets greeting, again in Rich Razzleberry on a Rich Razzleberry card base.

Not only is the paper from Sale-a-Bration, this card features a greeting from Beautifully Happy - a FREE stamp set during SAB with a $100 purchase! I used Mossy Meadow ink and cardstock.

Go To Greetings provides the sentiment, in Rich Razzleberry on Blushing Bride cardstock.

And then:

Each card has a matching envelope. I simply added a strip of the designer paper to the envelope flap and trimmed around the edges. It's a beautiful way to coordinate and finish off your card/envelope!

But I couldn't stop:

I created a box using Rich Razzleberry for the box bottom and the DSP for the to lid, tied it up with a Natural Finish Ribbon bow, and added a sweet tag:

Cut from the matching DSP, I used the Celebrate with Tags dies and Go To Greetings to create the tag. And inside:

This is going to be a birthday present for a neighbor. A simple, yet beautiful box of notecards and matching envelopes.

It's Almost Time

The January - April 2023 Mini Catalog and Sale-a-Bration brochure will be available for orders on January 5th. That's just two days away! Yippee!

So here's little sneak peek of good things to come:

Beautifully Happy is a Sale-a-Bration set that will be a FREE item with a $100 purchase. It's a lovely set of floral images that are "two-step stamping" stamps. This image is a single stamp, but then I used four other stamps to fill in the colors. Using the Stamparatus makes it so easy!

Isn't that a lovely flower? Stamped in Tuxedo Black, I added Granny Apple Green leaves and seeds, Mango Melody flowers with a Poppy Parade center. The main panel was then cut with Stitched Rectangle dies and I added a small scalloped edge with a die from the Scalloped Contours dies.

That background paper is from another Sale-a-Bration offering - Dandy Designs. This huge pack of 12" x 12" paper (48 sheets!) is another $100 level freebie. The colors are wonderful and the patterns will see you through an entire year of card-making!

This card is a "swap" card - I am in a group of demonstrators who create cards and send them to each other for ideas and samples. I made 13 of these cards (which is why the Stamparatus was a must!) and have them ready to mail out later today.
