Here's a little video to show you how I created this card, a Window Flip card:
After someone asked me for directions, I decided the easiest thing to do is to create the video. Enjoy, but keep in mind that when scoring the inside piece, look at the scoring measurements that I included in writing, not what I said (I made a booboo!).
Now give it a try!
(I'm a day late with Merry Monday; had issues getting this short video to load 😩)
Have you seen these cards:
We used Pretty Peacock for the card base, and Regal Winter 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper.
The Decorative Trees Christmas tree was cut with Pretty Peacock and we added a Silver Foil overlay from the same die set.
The greeting was heat-embossed with Silver Wow Embossing Powder - so pretty!
I think this one will create a few "WOWs" when the recipients receive them, don't you?
You would think that Rustic Crate sounds like an autumn stamp set, and you wouldn't be wrong, but what I love about Stampin' UP! stamp sets is how versatile they are. Take a look:
This set includes a flower grouping of poinsettias, the traditional plant of the Christmas season. So when I was creating cards for my class attendees, and included a holiday card, this is what I came up with.
The lovely poinsettias were stamped and colored with Stampin' Blends, then cut with the coordinating dies.
And then there's that paper!
The Season of Green & Gold DSP has beautiful patterns, and each page (one side, as our paper is double-sided) has gold foil accents. You can see the gold in the dot-sprinkled piece of paper along the side of the card.
But then we covered the mini card in another piece of paper from the DSP pack - this one in Old Olive and Mossy Meadow colors.
Inside the mini-card there is just enough room for a signature and short greeting--perfect for busy people when sending Christmas cards, right?
