Those of you who follow me regularly know that I rarely purchase whimsical stamp sets. I find I don't have enough ideas to make them versatile for me.
However, this past year, I have found myself drawn to more and more of these fun little sets (think Attention Shoppers, Cutest Cows, Market Goodness and Submarine Life) and now I have another one that I just had to add to my collection: Sweet Peas.
What could be more fun than a pod of happy peas wishing you a HaPEA Birthday? I mean look at these little faces:
And they're even wearing hats and using party blowers!
Anyway, I digress...all I'm sayin' is that I found these little guys irresistible!
So I put them on a fun-fold card.
I cut my cardstock to 5-1/2" x 6-1/2", and scored it at 4-1/4". Then I used the flap on the front as the anchor for a Nested Essential tag with these singing peas.
The image was stamped with Tuxedo Black, and colored with Stampin' Blends. I fussy-cut the largest pea and popped him up on a Dimensional.
This is the inside - two leaves from the vine stamped towards the corners...when the card is closed:
the leaves show just under the labels on the front.
Sweet Peas - for a fun HaPEA Birthday!
