Cheers & Sips - Meant to Bee

I'm not done playing with the Cheers & Sips bundle - it's so much fun to find new ways to celebrate with this set!

And bring in the Meant to Bee dies - hexagon shapes that cut not only the hexagon but also a border around each one.  And there are multiple dies in the set, so you can create lots of layers!

I started with a piece of the new Secret Sea cardstock - a beautiful new In Color (available May 6th) that is a rich deep, smoky blue.  I cut it to 4-1/4" x 11, and then lopped off 2" from one end; it's still scored at 5-1/2", creating a slightly shorter front piece.

Then I started layering the hexagons - Granny Apple Green on the bottom, followed by the white border piece (you'll see the white hexagon inside) around one of Crushed Curry.  And I topped it off with a little hexagon of now-retired designer series paper in Granny Apple Green.

The hexagons gave me an unusual front flap, and I decorated it with two drink glasses cut with the Cheers & Sips dies.  I colored the "drinks" with Stampin' Blends, and added a sprig of something (basil?) to one.  They were cut with the coordinating dies and adhered with Dimensionals.

And inside:

Now I used the borders from the Crushed Curry and Granny Apple Green hexagons on the front, along with the Basic White one.  I love the layered effect!

Cheers & Sips will be available May 6th, but if you like the look of the hexagon dies, they are available now.  Check them out here.

Floral Delight Gift Card Holder

OK, are you ready to see an adorable gift card holder?  I was playing with the Notes & Totes dies and came up with this card:

 I had first made this:

Aww, isn't that cute?

Using the Floral Delight designer series paper, I cut two of the "tote" dies, as well as some Pecan Pie trim pieces.

It's pretty easy to put the pieces together to create a little 3-dimensional tote bag.

And look!  I even added a sweet pocket!

So then I got to playing and figuring out how to make a coordinating card.

I started with a piece of Thick Basic White and added a piece of Brights 6" x 6" DSP in Daffodil Delight.

But it looked a little plain, so I stamped a few of the flowers from Delightful Wishes (the stamp set that coordinates with the Floral Delight paper) directly on the paper.  I also added the greetings, from Tune In and Attention Shoppers.

And once I added the tote bag, I realized that I could pop it up so that it would hold a gift card - perfect for the "shopping is always a good idea" sentiment, right?

What an adorable combination!

Note & Totes will be released on May 6th when the 2025-26 Annual Catalog goes live.

But if you like this card, you may want to be sure to grab Tune In and Attention Shoppers (two of my favorite sets), as well as the Floral Delight DSP, as they are on the Last Chance List and will be retiring when they are all gone.  And there's so much more!  So don't miss out!

Pretty Florals in Petunia Pop

Pretty Florals is a new stamp set that will be making a debut in May with the new 2025-26 Annual Catalog.  I happened to win this set when I was at Stampin' UP!'s Onstage Convention a few weeks ago.  And it really IS pretty; take a look:

I love this in Petunia Pop!  Soft and pretty, yet striking!

I started by cutting Basic White with the Textured Notes die to create a lovely panel.  Then I just stamped the flowers using Petunia Pop (stamped off once and then full strength) and Granny Apple Green.

A little thank you and some Petunia Pop ribbon and I was nearly done.

But I wanted a little more color on my card, so I took a piece of the In Color 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper and trimmed it with one of the Basic Borders dies.  So simple!

A few In Color Shimmer Gems and I was done!

The DSP and Shimmer Gems are one the Last Chance List and will be retired once they sell out.  Have you checked out the list yet?  There are a few nice bargains, and some great products that will be retiring soon.  Don't miss out!

Sneak Peek - Pretty Florals

When I attended Stampin' UP!'s OnStage convention two weeks ago I won a Prize Patrol (where we win a prize depending on a number preprinted on our name badge).  And I received a new, upcoming stamp set called Pretty Florals.  I had just watched a demonstration of someone making cards using the set, and I was thrilled to get my hands on one.

So when I needed a thank you card for a customer, I thought I would take Pretty Florals for a spin:

I started by cutting a piece of Basic White cardstock and stamping the flower image directly on it.  I used Shy Shamrock for the stem/leaves and the new Strawberry Slush for the flowers.  It's a two-step process; I first stamped the "filler" after stamping off the inked stamp, and then I inked up the detailed flower image and stamped it using full-strength ink.

The simplicity of this card doesn't take away from how pretty it is!  All I needed to do was to mount my stamped image over a piece of the coordinating Florals in Bloom designer series paper and add a greeting.

Pretty Florals has coordinating dies, but I didn't even use them for this lovely card.  I'll save that for another day.

Pretty Florals will be released May 6th with the upcoming 2025-26 Annual Catalog.  Mark your calendar and get ready to get your hands on this lovely floral stamp set!
